Prabowo Subianto, the President of Indonesia, recently appointed General Tandyo Budi as the Deputy Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). In addition, he also inaugurated six new Regional Military Command (Kodam) commanders, 20 brigade commanders, and 100 Territorial Development Battalions. During the ceremony, Prabowo awarded the Bintang Sakti Medal of Honor to soldiers who demonstrated exceptional integrity. He emphasized the importance of commanders leading from the front and being the first line of protection for their troops in hazardous situations.
Prabowo highlighted the responsibility of military leaders to lead by example and always be at the forefront of dangerous missions. He emphasized that commanders should never stay behind the lines but instead be actively involved in the most critical and dangerous situations. Prabowo urged leaders to care for and train their troops as if they were their own children, emphasizing the importance of nurturing and training with kindness and compassion.
