Langowan – Prabowo Subianto, the presidential candidate number 2, expressed his desire to build a leading school in Langowan, Minahasa, North Sulawesi.
He conveyed this when greeting the people of North Sulawesi who crowded the Schwarz Field, Langowan, on Monday (5/2).
He will realize this desire regardless of the results of the 2024 presidential election.
“But I also have the intention of making a leading school here. So whether I become president or not, I want to make a leading school here,” said Prabowo.
Langowan, Minahasa Regency, is the ancestral area of Prabowo’s family from his mother’s line, Dora Marie Sigar. This area does have special value for Prabowo.
He then thanked for the reception and support that the people of North Sulawesi have given him so far. Prabowo promised to return to Minahasa, North Sulawesi.
“So may I ask for permission, can I go home? Can I? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for the reception, my brothers and sisters. Thank you. Extraordinary,” he said.
Before meeting the crowd at Schwarz Field, Prabowo first visited the graves of his extended family Sigar-Maengkom. The enthusiasm of the people of North Sulawesi was also evident throughout the journey from Sam Ratulangi Airport, Manado to Langowan, as they waited on the side of the road to see Prabowo.
