According to the leaked information, leakers mentioned that the company embedded the Qi 2.2 standard in the device called Prime MagGo Qi v2.2 Wireless Car Charging Pad. Apart from the charging standard, Anker also provides several other updates in its latest charger device.

The leaked information about Anker’s Wireless Car Charger reveals that it will come with the Qi 2.2 charging standard from the WPC. With this standard, the Anker device will be able to wirelessly charge our smartphones with a maximum power of 25W, even when plugged into the car’s power. Additionally, the leaker mentioned that this charger will be equipped with internal cooling and a charging indicator.

Anker positions the internal cooling fan at the back of the charging pad. The use of this cooling system is expected to prevent overheating of our smartphones and stabilize the charging performance, especially when placed on the car dashboard exposed to sunlight. On the other hand, the addition of a charging indicator light enables us to monitor the charging status on the phone without turning on the screen.

The Anker Prime MagGo Qi v2.2 is expected to come with USB-C input support up to 45W. As this charger is designed for use in cars, it will reportedly be sold with a special car power adaptor. This makes it convenient for users as they can simply plug it in and start using it without the need to purchase additional accessories.

An official release date for the Anker device has not been announced yet. However, leakers estimate that the selling price will be around USD 70 or approximately IDR 1.1 million. If released, this device could be an attractive option for those who travel frequently and need to charge their phones without dealing with cables.
