President Prabowo Subianto graced the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The event, hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdikti) in collaboration with ITB, aimed to showcase innovative research products and technologies. President Prabowo visited various exhibition booths, including Padjadjaran University’s “Flagship Research Products,” which highlighted advancements like VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses.
In his opening speech at the Sabuga Hall, President Prabowo expressed gratitude to Minister Brian Yuliarto of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, the Red and White Cabinet members, the Governor of West Java, and ITB’s Rector Tatacipta Dirgantara. The theme of KSTI 2025, “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” underlines its role as a driver for national economic transformation through research and technological innovation. This convention is aligned with the government’s vision for Golden Indonesia 2045.
KSTI 2025 also spotlighted exhibitions from vital sectors such as energy, defense, digitalization, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing. With a focus on strengthening the foundation for Indonesia’s future, this event sets the stage for sustainable economic development and progress in science and technology.
